The abstract paintings signed "DeeKar" were a collaborative partnership between LKN-based artist Deedi Sutton and me. Other paintings were a collaborative partnership
between LKN-based Angela Rocchio and me, and are signed by both artists.
All others are my original work.
In addition to the commissioned pet portraits, I enjoy creating paintings that
reflect my travels to America's Southwest, Europe and other places.
I have also painted several still-life works.
I strive to create one-of-a-kind, color-saturated paintings that speak to your individual soul and spirit. The abstract paintings are created unintentionally, meaning I have no vision or focus of what they will become until they start coming to life.
I work only with professional-quality acrylic paints, archival-quality canvas and occasional gifts from nature, like leaves, flowers or other embellishments.
